Unlike any other ceramic coating on the market, Fireball coatings undergo a series of chemical reactions after application. We call this Chemical Reaction Synthesis Hardshell Technology. To put it simply, the coating firstly binds to the surface being coated… after being wiped down by the installer, the coating self levels… then has a final chemical reaction to hardshell the coating from liquid to solid state. This results in higher gloss, better surface integrity, increased hydrophobics, more durability and minimal shrinkage.

FIREBALL CERAMIC COATING DURABILITY EXPLAINED

Durability period is the time when the coating ensures proper surface protection. Fireball ceramic coatings bind with paint permanently which provides exceptional hardness for many years. The coatings require proper care and periodic inspections for their long protection properties to last.

Without regular maintenance the coatings may lose some of their hydrophobic and hydrophilic properties, which the customer may understand as an error in functioning. It is worth underlining that the coatings will still protect the paint from mechanical micro-scratches, UV, environmental pollution, etc.

The inspections are done yearly (the same time period for each coating). Yearly inspection includes washing the car thoroughly, removing any tar, metal contaminants, etc. and applying special coating maintenance products if required (which rebuilds both protective layer and hydrophobicity).

Note: If the car service requires paint refreshing or correction – the customer is required to pay an additional fee.

All Fireball coatings when applied undergo a chemical reaction that permanently bonds themselves to the paint surfaces, providing higher gloss and water repellency.

Fireball coated cars are to be washed with a pH neutral shampoo with no fillers, polymers, waxes and conditioners, such as Fireball’s Ultimate Car Shampoo. Using shampoos that contain fillers, polymers, waxes and conditioners will degrade the gloss and hydrophobics until those additives have degraded or removed off the paintwork. Your Fireball Certified Detailer can either sell or advise which shampoos that are best to use.

Our coatings can also be applied to vehicle’s windows for a protective and ultra hydrophobic finish.

Talon is Fireball’s high temperature coating developed for wheels, brake calipers and exhaust tips. Talon can also be used to protect engine parts against porosity and water-spotting on polished parts. Talon is also excellent on vehicle unpainted external plastics. Talon usage varies greatly on the complexity of parts to be coated and should be quoted individually. Ask your Fireball Authorised Coater about Talon on you vehicle’s plastics, wheels, Calipers etc.
